Mid-40s, recently divorced, and trying to start over after a very LTR, so really just looking around right now for friends and possibly more. Started this account when I was living in SF, but I'm now living in Northern NJ, where I'm originally from.

Semi-athletic, "average" to trim build, brown hair, hazel eyes, short beard, with a wide range of hobbies, from cooking, fishing, and bowling, to collecting vintage baseball cards and high-end guitars. I play lead guitar in rock bands from time to time. I definitely lean towards the geeky side, and tend to get along best with people with nerdy hobbies of their own. I'm not into partying these days so just want someone to hang out and watch movies with, or we can just play around and blow each other and you go home. Very open minded about that.

Just know that I'm into bigger, heavier guys. I like the boy next door beefy/chubby computer nerd look, but I'm pretty open minded as long as you've got some extra meat on your bones, have some body/chest hair (masculine guys a + but not required), and ideally you're not some muscle head. I'll always go for the brainy funny nerd over the meathead jock type.
